Approving Comments

In order for blog comments to be visible the author/administrator of the blog must approve them. The FYS blogging system has been setup this way to help fight unwanted spam.

As the author/administrator of a blog you will receive an e-mail notification when comments have been posted and are pending approval.

To approve a comment do the following:

  • Login
  • When you’re at your “Dashboard” (the first screen you see upon login), look for this on your screen:

  • When you use your mouse and hover over the comment you’ll be given these options:

  • You can choose to approve the comment by clicking “Approve”.

The comment will now be visible on the blog.
